Ventured to 'The Tip' on the 19th of June 2014. Great area with nice beaches and scenery. Easily accessible in Prado with one mild river crossing. Upon arrival at the parking area, it's a short and easy walk along mild terrain to the actual tip (which is signed to let you know you're there). Quite windy, so hang onto your hats etc. In relation to the question about using a 2WD vehicle, I personally wouldn't attempt it myself. I highly doubt that a sedan would make it over the river crossing without getting stuck. The Pajinka Trail is quite well kept, but there are several ruts might also cause some hassle. Maybe one could drive the track and then ride/walk when the 2WD reaches its limits?
